Jeremy Borash leaves Impact; signs with WWE

Jeremy Borash, one of the few remaining Impact originals, has left Impact Wrestling. Borash worked the commentary booth served as the primary backstage interviewer between 2006 and 2015, before being appointed to the lead play by play position in 2015.

On January 30, PWInsider reported that Borash had left Impact after 16 years, and has jumped ship to WWE.

This is a pretty serious blow for Impact. While not being an in-ring talent, Borash has been one of the faces of the company since its inception, being a part of some pretty important storylines throughout the almost two decades he had worked there.

What really is left of TNA anyway. Next up Jeff Jarrett probably going to be put in the WWE Hall of Fame.

    I was just thinking that

  • Sparti Love

Wow Jeremy Borash! It’s nice to see some real announcers, instead of wrestlers or pretty faces trying to announce/commentary

Now all they’ll really need is Abyss then WWE would pretty much have taken every integral piece from TNA’s foundation.

  • Arnold Jackson

It’ll funny if this is the new Cruiserweight GM

  • Arnold Jackson

Guess he hated watching Jeff lose the company, yet again.

He has been on the booker committee the whole time too. Wonder what even made Hunter reach out to him?

  • ROB-1.
