Both ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso and his cousin, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns were not featured during this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown and it’s safe to say that fans noticed the very rare occurrence. Especially because this was the last WWE SmackDown to take place in the WWE Thunderdome and before WWE goes back on tour. Jey Uso’s ‘struggles’ were just revealed by Roman Reigns.
On Twitter, several members of the WWE Universe were flabbergasted and surprised by the non-appearances of both Jey Uso and Roman Reigns. Some fans discussed being concerned at Jey’s two week absence. On the social media platform @TheArchitect032 stated: “Okay imagine this is actually Jey Uso who just knocked out Jimmy Uso tied him up and looked him behind a door and Jey took Jimmy place just so he could impress Roman Reigns”. Fellow Twitter user @Kecia61280 said: “YAY!!!!! But where is Roman Reigns and and Jey Uso?! Roman Reigns is the only reason I watch Smackdown!!”. While @ji711 simply proclaimed: “So Jey Uso’s just MIA?” Another fan asked, “Is Jey Uso on PTO?”
In other news regarding Jey Uso’s cousin – the ‘Tribal Chief’ and current WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, ‘The Head of the Table’ recently stated in a new interview who he thinks his second favorite superstar in WWE is. Credit to TheRingReport for the following quote. Jey Uso dropped this ‘quitting’ WWE bombshell late last month.
“I could say my favorite number two, Drew. He’s my favorite number two. There’s a bunch of number two’s, three’s, whatever you want to call it. We can rank them. It really don’t matter. They’re under me. How far under? Who knows? Who really cares? How strong of a number two do you want to be? At this point, my favorite is Drew McIntyre.”
