Prominent news commentator and analyst Brit Hume has raised concerns about President Joe Biden’s mental acuity, suggesting that the issue of his age is becoming increasingly apparent to American voters. Hume pointed out Biden’s history of verbal and mental mistakes, including instances where he called on deceased individuals, recounted fictional stories, and mixed up names of family members. These instances, coupled with Biden’s public appearances where he froze into immobility, have contributed to growing concerns about his cognitive abilities.
Hume also referenced a recent government report that acknowledged evidence of Biden’s “diminished” capacity but recommended against charging him for keeping classified government documents. The report highlighted concerns about Biden’s failing memory and other cognitive challenges.
During the Super Tuesday primaries, where Biden lost one of the Democrat races, Hume commented on the increasing perception of Biden’s senility. He emphasized that the age and acuity issue has been a “ticking time bomb,” and he had previously stated that Biden was senile even when it was not fashionable to express such concerns.
