The Washington Examiner recently reported on a Rasmussen Reports poll indicating significant concern within the Democratic Party regarding President Joe Biden’s future in the 2024 presidential race. According to the poll, one-third of Democrats believe that this week’s upcoming debate against former President Donald Trump represents Biden’s “last chance” to prove himself.
This sentiment is driven by observations of Biden’s age, 82, and instances of confusion and disorientation, such as a recent incident at a G7 meeting where he wandered away from other leaders during a staged photo.
Democrats have countered criticisms of Biden’s behavior by accusing Republicans of using manipulated videos to portray him negatively, although there has been no evidence to support these claims of video alteration. Despite these defenses, concerns persist within the party about Biden’s ability to effectively campaign and govern.
