The COVID-19 pandemic affected the entire world and that includes the world of professional wrestling in 2020. It seems WWE has broken a record that they most likely did not want to break regarding John Cena.

Despite John Cena’s very busy scheduled in Hollywood, he took part in a feud with Bray Wyatt, which culminated in a Firefly Funhouse match at WrestleMania 36. Cena only appeared on Friday Night Smackdown during the feud and not on RAW.
It seems 2020 was the first year that John Cena has not appeared on a single episode of Monday Night RAW since 2004.
We wonder if Cena will make a return on RAW next year. Him appearing at all next year is in question as he is very busy with his Hollywood career.
