Kamala Harris Shouts At Protester Being Dragged Out Of…

During a speech at the Michigan Democratic Party Legacy Dinner, Vice President Kamala Harris addressed a protester who disrupted the event. As the protester was being removed, Harris acknowledged her by saying she “values and respects” her voice, but also asserted, “I’m speaking right now!”

Protesters critical of the Biden administration’s handling of the Israel-war have been causing disturbances at events for months, including a group that surrounded the White House with a ‘Red Line’ banner and set off smoke bombs.

Despite the interruption, Harris proceeded with her speech, where she expressed condolences for the Palestinians killed during a hostage rescue. Amidst her remarks, another woman began shouting and was swiftly removed from the room. In response, Harris firmly reiterated her stance, stating, “I’m speaking right now! I value and respect your voice, but I’m speaking right now!”

As part of her speech, Harris initially addressed the rescue of four hostages from Gaza, highlighting the tragic events that unfolded on October seventh, including the abduction of 250 hostages. She emphasized the importance of mourning the innocent lives lost in Gaza, including those tragically killed that day.

Despite the disruption caused by the protester, Harris continued her address, discussing the Biden administration’s ongoing efforts to negotiate a cease-fire deal. Despite the interruption, Harris maintained her composure and reaffirmed her commitment to ending the conflict in a manner that ensures security for Israel, brings home all hostages, and upholds the rights and dignity of the Palestinian people.

Echoing President Biden’s recent remarks, Harris emphasized the urgent need to bring an end to the war, emphasizing the administration’s dedication to achieving a peaceful resolution.

The VP opened her remarks at the Michigan Democratic Party dinner in downtown Michigan with a few words on the rescue of the four hostages from Gaza:

“Before I begin, I just say a few words about the morning which I know weighs heavily on all of our hearts,” she said.”On October seventh, Hamas committed a brutal massacre of 1,200 innocent people and abducted 250 hostages” “Thankfully four of those hostages were reunited with their families tonight. And we mourn all of the innocent lives that have been lost in Gaza, including those tragically killed today.”

As Harris attempted to describe the Biden administration’s months-long efforts to negotiate a cease-fire deal, a female protester stood up and shouted at her (the words were indiscernible to your pooler) and was quickly removed from the ballroom.

Harris’ response was stern. She said she valued the person’s opinion. “I value and respect your voice, but I’m speaking right now,” she said. Harris then continued to describe the work on the deal.

“We have been working every day to bring an end to this conflict in a way that ensures Israel is secure, brings home all hostages, ends ongoing suffering for Palestinian people and ensures that Palestinians can enjoy their right to self determination, dignity and freedom.

“As President Biden said last week, it is time for this war to end.”
