It has been noted that Comedian Jimmy Kimmel has gathered together a group of former inmates to dig into what former President Donald Trump’s life would be like behind bars and whether the former president could “find love in prison” via Mediaite.
On Tuesday evening, Kimmel reacted to his joke while recently hosting the Oscars in which he asked Trump if it was “past his jail time” had him wondering what the former president in prison would look like.
This led to him and the group of former inmates acting out various scenarios with a prison model and action figures. Kimmel’s Oscar joke was in response to Trump slamming the comedian and the ceremony on Truth Social.
“It made me wonder, if justice prevails and Trump does go to prison, what will his life be like? So I met with a group of non-violent former inmates—these are guys who’ve done real-time—to ask, what can our former president expect behind bars and what can he do to prepare himself for prison?” Kimmel said.
Kimmel raised multiple questions to his group, such as, whether Trump can sneak in KFC and whether there is an “orange” gang in prison. All the former inmates were locked up for non-violent crimes.
At one point, he turned the conversation to “love.”
“Do you think he will find love in prison?” Kimmel asked.
“I think a big, Black man would go ahead and take him under his wing,” Dante West told the comedian.
“Oh, that’s right. You’re saying racists can get along in certain situations, be they sexual?” Kimmel asked.
“I think if there’s any opportunity, it’s for an orange guy like Donnie for sure,” West said.
The men then acted out with action figures Trump being pepper sprayed and beaten up while behind bars.
