Kurt Angle wants to wrestle Kenny Omega

Raw’s General Manager took part in another Q&A session on his Facebook page. Topics ranged from potential dream tag team matches with Shawn Michaels against today’s tag top tag teams, leaving the WWE for TNA, and the progress of 205 Live throughout 2018.

Below are some highlights of the Q&A, including a question about the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Kenny Omega.

What are your thoughts on 205 Live and the matches they’re producing? Do they deserve more spotlight?

205 has opened up a whole new world of wrestling for the fans. I love what they do. I think they will get much more airtime in the future. They deserve it.

Who’s your best friend in the wrestling business?

Right now? Rhyno. I’ve known him for 20 years. He’s a blast to be around.

If you were given a choice to face any tag team in the world with HBK as your partner, who would you face?

Tag teams? Cesaro and Sheamus or the Usos. But the most cohesive team right now is….. the Revival. They are amazing together as a unit. Great things coming from them.

Do you have any regrets in leaving the WWE for TNA earlier in your career?

I can’t. I had a great career in TNA, maybe better than my WWE career. I had a reduced schedule there. And I wrestled so many greats. AJ, Joe, Sting, Roode…to name a few. My body couldn’t hold up to the rigorous schedule in WWE at the time. I always imagine the career I could’ve had if I stayed in the WWE. It would have been incredible. But I couldn’t stay so I can’t keep asking myself, ‘What if?’

If Kenny Omega came to the WWE, what would your dream match be for him?

Seth Rollins or AJ Styles. I’d love a shot at Kenny as well. I have a list of dream opponents that I would like to compete against. These 3 are in that list.

If you haven’t been following Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, or Triple H on social media, I highly recommend you do so. With Foley and Angle, you get Q&A sessions like this that give you some insight and interesting questions. With Trips, any time he goes live to talk about NXT or the WWE during their tours, those are worth watching.
