Shawn Michaels posed in Playgirl magazine, though it wasn’t nearly as graphic. Shawn Michaels is a retired WWE Superstar known for being one of the best in-ring performers in WWE history. He was given the nickname “Mr. WrestleMania” due to his legendary matches at the biggest event of the year. Michaels retired from in-ring competition after his second match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26, where he put on a spectacular performance. Despite his retirement, many WWE Superstars have reportedly asked him to come out of retirement and perform again.
Michaels did make a special appearance at WWE Crown Jewel in November 2018, teaming up with Triple H to face The Undertaker and Kane. However, the match was heavily criticized by fans and critics alike, with Michaels himself admitting that it was not up to par with his previous work and should not have happened in the first place.
In a recent interview, Michaels confirmed that WWE Superstars such as Kevin Owens, AJ Styles, Johnny Gargano, and Adam Cole have tried to get him out of retirement. However, Michaels is focused on his role as a coach and mentor in NXT and has no plans to return to in-ring competition.
“I asked him who has tried the hardest to get him out of retirement… he said Kevin Owens made an attempt during his last appearances in NXT. Also named AJ Styles, Johnny Gargano, Adam Cole among others.”
