This situation with viral meningitis has become rather serious. Now a change to TLC is needed due to certain guys struck with the horrible virus. Roman Reigns is being replaced by Kurt Angle which would be amazing if it didn’t come at the expense of Roman Reigns’ health.
Bray Wyatt is also being taken out of his match as well. The Eater Of Worlds was set to take on Finn Balor but that’s not happening either. Instead, AJ Styles will jump brands and take on Balor at TLC in a match fans have also been waiting for. Those two men were the first leaders of The Bullet Club and people have been wanting to see them since they both ended up in WWE at the same time.
Pro Wrestling Sheet reports WWE officials have known about a possible change-up to TLC since late this week. Kurt Angle was obviously the best replacement for Reigns and Styles was the best choice to switch for Bray Wyatt.
WWE has also released an official statement on the matter which said:
“We have confirmed that three of our performers have been diagnosed with a viral infection. As a precautionary measure, we are ensuring in-ring performers and staff are tested and immunized in accordance with recommended medical guidelines.”
Although they’re not confirming it’s viral meningitis, it is still an interesting choice of words. But it certainly confirms something is going on. Let’s just hope for the best.
