As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, The Elite and the Inner Circle had a face-off in the final segment of the show. The Inner Circle mocked the Elite because the babyfaces were “outnumbered” for their Blood & Guts match.
However, before Chris Jericho could complete his speech, a drone came down flying to the arena and landed in the ring. Matt Jackson took the mic and revealed that they are not outnumbered because their fifth member is a friend he called up.
The friend, of course, was none other than “Broken” Matt Hardy who was led to the arena by his drone – Vanguard 1. Hardy did his “DELETE” gesture as the Inner Circle looked towards him in absolute shock.
The #InnerCircle thought they had it all figured out. But, #TheElite had a plan the whole time!

Many fans were expecting Matt Hardy to be the Exalted One but that didn’t happen as Brodie Lee was revealed to be the mysterious leader of the Dark Order. However, Hardy and his Brokenverse are sure to become a huge part of the AEW product moving forward.
