Matt Riddle has been in the news due to a situation that occurred at the JFK airport. The situation warranted attention of senior officials at the airport as Riddle tried to use his WWE superstar status to get some leeway.
Reportedly, Riddle was intoxicated and under the influence of some substance (possibly weed) as he was on his way back home following the WWE Superstar Spectacle in India. ‘The Original Bro’ went into rehab last year and missed out on a lot of action.
According to Ringside News, the WWE superstar was behaving weirdly and situation went to an extent where things got physical. It was at this time that additional security was required to handle the tough situation. There were multiple attempts made to de-escalate the situation, but nothing worked out.
After a few attempts of de-escalating the situation and removing Matt from the area, it became physical.
WWE has maintained silence over the situation and it looks like it would continue to do so until the dust settles. While an official report is awaited at this time, it looks like we should have a report soon as the person involved in the current situation is a renowned personality.
Matt Riddle’s actions have caused him trouble in the past too, but it looks like the former Tag Team Champion hasn’t learned from his mistakes. While Matt Riddle has deleted the original Instagram post, he shared a new post hoping to never visit JFK Airport again.
