At WWE Super ShowDown, Goldberg once again shocked the world and captured the WWE Universal Championship in dramatic fashion when he defeated ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt.
It is safe to say that Goldberg’s win has certainly garnered mixed reactions from the WWE Universe and from fans around the world, however, one man who was quick to respond to the new Universal Champion was Matt Riddle.
Riddle and Goldberg have had some quite some issues with each other over the past few months, with ‘The Original Bro’ going to such an extent and even labeling Goldberg as “the worst wrestler in the business”. This time, Riddle had another interesting response to Goldberg’s title win, as he pretty much claimed that the WWE Hall of Famer was inspired by him during his match against ‘The Fiend’.

Despite the reaction and backlash that WWE has been getting over Goldberg’s title win, the WWE Hall of Famer is expected to defend his title at WrestleMania 36 and his journey begins from this week’s edition of SmackDown Live.
