Meiko Satomura is a veteran in the Joshi pro wrestling world. She also competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic but was not seen in a WWE ring since then. Now it seems that will be changing.
She was interviewed by Tokyo Sports, where she confirmed that she has signed with WWE. She said she will be part of the NXT UK brand from November.
Satomura mentioned that she will still be making appearances for Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling, but they will not be frequent.
“I want to advance to my new stage. In the future, I will leave the group to the current players as a limited participation.”
She will be working as an on-air talent and coach for the NXT UK brand.
