Melania Trump, although not attending her husband’s New York criminal trial, reportedly finds the prosecution to be a “disgrace” and believes it may hinder his presidential campaign. According to The New York Times, Melania considers the ongoing hush-money criminal trial unfair, though she previously dismissed it as “his problem.” This weekend, she is expected to show support for Donald Trump at a Log Cabin Republicans event at Mar-a-Lago.
The trial revolves around the sensitive issue of Trump’s alleged hush-money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels regarding their supposed affair. The alleged affair occurred just four months after Melania gave birth to their son, Barron, and prompted her to cancel a trip to Davos, Switzerland, with her husband when news broke.
Stephanie Grisham, Melania’s former press secretary, remarked that Melania’s influence could significantly impact Trump’s candidacy. She noted that Melania could “make or break his candidacy” and potentially “make or break him” in general.
“At the end of the day, she can make or break his candidacy,” Melania’s former press secretary, Stephanie Grisham, said. “And at the end of the day, she could probably make or break him.”
