Earlier in April, she hosted a similar fundraiser for the Log Cabin Republicans at Mar-a-Lago. While she appeared with former President Donald Trump in March during their voting in the Florida primary, Melania has generally maintained a lower profile throughout her husband’s campaign trail.
During the 2022 campaign launch of former President Trump, Melania Trump was in attendance, but she has not been seen accompanying him during recent rallies. Notably, she was also absent during Trump’s trial in New York City, where he was ultimately convicted on multiple felony counts related to falsifying business records in connection with a hush money scheme during the 2016 campaign.
Trump has mentioned in a Fox News interview that Melania is doing fine but indicated that the situation has been challenging for her. Her upcoming hosting of the Log Cabin Republicans fundraiser underscores her occasional engagement in political activities amidst a largely private post-White House life.
