Melina Reacts To Royal Rumble Match Snub

The 2021 edition of the Royal had plenty of surprise entrants on the women’s side too with a good amount of names from the past such as Torrie Wilson, Jillian Hall and Victoria entering the fray to much well-deserved fan fare. One notable absent name who plenty of fans were speculating would show up during the women’s Royal Rumble was Melina. Melina Perez recently addressed rumors during her WWE career, says she’s willing to return.

Melina was attached to plenty of return rumors in 2020, even appearing during RAW Reunion earlier last year so it was simply natural that a Royal Rumble appearance could have been in the works. While that didn’t happen, she did react her ruthless-aggression era contemporaries making their re-debuts during the event as she took to social media via Instagram to share her thoughts. You can view her comments below.

Of course I’m watching the Rumble! All the ladies did a great job!!! Of course my favs were @jillianhall1 & @reallisamarie! Jillo, I know I’ll always be the cookies to your cream!! And Lisa… Still a bad ass and a Perfect 10!!! Jillian Hall said, “We missed you!!”

Fellow Instagram users had their say on Melina’s post. One user named ColinHughes94 said: “I’ve been having thoughts that you were going to be in the Royal Rumble, but it didn’t happen. I hope you return to WWE sometime in the future” while brandon_kohlmeier praised Victoria’s appearance by writing: “Victoria! Looking like an elite athlete and not some blonde bimbo that makes up most of the roster nowadays.” Melina Perez recently responded to reports of her being difficult to work with.
