Candice LeRae and Candice Michelle are two different individuals, but it looks like Michael Cole may have missed out on the difference between the two superstars. On the recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Candice LeRae was involved in in-ring action. She had a match with Xia Li. The match didn’t go on for a longer duration after Li hit LeRae with a kick to the face.
The match was called off by the referee as LeRae was unable to compete. During the match, veteran play by play commentator Michael Cole mistakenly called Candice LeRae, Candice Michelle. According to Ringside News, Michelle was once with the WWE, and has been out of the wrestling world for quite some time. There are no indications if she is planning to make a return to the squared circle.

Michael Cole has made such mistakes in the past
This isn’t the first time that Michael Cole has made a mistake while calling out people. He did the same in September when instead of ‘The Judgement Day’, he called the faction ‘The Judgement Gay’. While Cole has years of experience under his belt, it’s worth understanding that pressure can make people do mistakes that are otherwise impossible.

While we understand that this could be a slip of tongue, it’s important to note that in the modern day and age every word is quickly picked upon by people. This confirms that everyone should be cautious about their choice of words because anything can be blown out of proportion.
