Brian Pillman Jr. (now known as Lexis King) recently joined the WWE Performance Center after his contract with AEW ended earlier in the year. He recently made it to NXT and is gradually making a name for himself there. That said, King’s ex-girlfriend claimed that he dumped her after signing with WWE.
Ahead of signing with WWE, Lexis King gained fame in AEW. He had a long-term relationship with independent wrestler Arie Alexander before that. She would often post photos of herself along with King.
But Arie Alexander took to Twitter to respond to an interview with Lexis King, who said, among other things, that he broke her heart and dumped her after signing with WWE. Despite that, she still wished him all the best for his WWE journey.
”the way this man broke my heart, s***** on me, and dumped me when he got signed.. the comment section makes me smile a little bit. still wish him the best tho ”
Meanwhile, Speaking to WWE Hall of Famer Booker T on the Hall of Fame podcast, Lexis King was asked whether he feels like he was born to become a professional wrestler. He responded by stating:
“You know, I think about that a lot, and I feel like I never had a choice. I felt like it was always in my blood for the fact that the day he decided he was going to name me Brian Pillman. I was trapped, it was everywhere I go. It’s a household name in Cincinnati where I grew up, and I couldn’t escape that legacy, couldn’t escape all the reminders of him. And to be fair, he didn’t exactly leave me a choice,” he said.
