– Ospreay made his NJPW debut against KUSHIDA.
– Naito won the IWGP World Hvt. Title from Kazuchika Okada in the main event.
– Tama Tonga & Tonga Roa won the IWGP World Tag Titles from Honma & Togi Makabe.
– Kenny Omega & the Young Bucks lost the IWGP Six-Man Tag Titles to Tanahashi & Michael Elgin & Yoshi Tatsu.
– RPG Vice (Rocky Romero & Trent Baretta) defeated Matt Sydal & Ricochet to win the IWGP Jr. Hvt. Tag Titles.
– The 2016 G1 Climax tournament begins on July 18 and finishes on August 14.
