The creative team in WWE has seen some major changes in the past year or so and latest reports suggest that these changes have made Bruce Prichard a very powerful figure in the company.
According to reports from PWinsider, the current creative direction of the promotion falls under two people – the boss Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard.
When it comes to creative, everything flows through Prichard and his word is said to be “very much the gospel” for the chairman of the boards.
Due to this, many people have described the former Brother Love as ‘the most powerful person’ in WWE after the members of the McMahon family.
Though this power also has its consequences and per insider, Prichard’s position has led to a lot of frustration and heat towards him from talent, at least privately.
Bruce Prichard was made the Executive Director of SmackDown after the departure of Eric Bischoff in October last year. He then took over the duties of Raw’s creative team as well, after the removal of Paul Heyman from the position in June earlier this year.
