WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins (Nikki Bella and Brie Bella) were previously slated to make a return to in-ring competition. They recently addressed various topics on the latest episode of their podcast. They also discussed a possible in-ring return. Bray Wyatt Rejecting Several Wrestling Offers
Nikki Bella opens up on a return
Nikki stated that there are no plans for them to wrestle right now and discussed her own status. The former WWE Divas Champion previously revealed in October that she is not medically cleared to wrestle by doctors due to her neck history. She stated during this podcast that she’s unsure whether she will be ever cleared.
Nikki stated:
“Real quick on returning to the ring, because we see it everywhere, so in a quick little thing, there are no plans for Brie and I to return to the ring. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to return to the ring as I am officially retired per our doctors. The day that we are warming up, practicing, and maybe coming back, the Bella listeners will be the first to know.”
Brie added:
“Do we miss the ring? Absolutely. We miss the WWE Universe, the Bella Army, and we would love to get back to the ring one day. It’s just not any time soon.”
Back in January 2016, Nikki got neck surgery and was able to wrestle a few times after undergoing the surgery, but hasn’t worked a match since the Evolution pay-per-view in 2018. We will see if a return of the twin sister duo ever takes place.
