WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella is planning to make her in-ring return moving forward. She returned to the ring in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble after having to retire in 2018 due to a neck injury.
Nikki Bella drops plans for return
Many stars have returned to the squared circle from injury-forced retirement. It seems Nikki is eyeing to head to that path. It is unknown if Nikki will step back in the ring anytime soon but she pitched an idea for her return should it happen.
“As long as the doctors say yes,” Nikki commented to NBC when asked if she would wrestle again. “Especially with my sister [Brie Bella]. When we left is when they brought in the tag titles.
Nikki Bella and her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev had started dating in 2019 and got engaged in November that year but made it public in January the next year. A few weeks later, they announced that they were expecting their first child. Matteo, the couple’s first child, was born in July 2020.
She added:
“I would like it more when my son is like three or four. A dream of mine, especially as a woman, is to have one of the best matches of my career with my son sitting ringside and being like, ‘that’s my mom.’ I really would love to go back one day, with my sister, fight for the tag titles, win them, of course, in front of our kids. That would be amazing.”
Nikki most recently served as a judge on America’s Got Talent: Extreme, which held its season finale on March 14.
