WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins, Brie and Nikki Bella had returned to the ring at this year’s WWE Women’s Royal Rumble match. Fans were absolutely thrilled to witness them back in the squared circle, However, since then, neither of them have competed.
Nikki Bella reveals if they will return
The stars have been talking about a return to the company. But, WWE seemingly doesn’t have any plans for them. While speaking with Extra, Nikki Bella talked about returning to the ring. She claimed that she and her sister are more on the retired side:
We’re more on the retired side, but we still live it. We’ll still watch ‘Monday Night Raw’ and I’ll be like, ‘Okay, so, like, Becky Lynch did this, Brie, and I think we should go back and do this at WrestleMania.’ I do this all the time. It never ends. Like, when you’re in, you’re in, you never leave.
Many stars have returned to the squared circle from injury-forced retirement. Nikki’s career was shortened due to neck injury and that forced her to retire in 2018. It seems Nikki is eyeing to head to that path. It is unknown if Nikki will step back in the ring anytime soon but she pitched an idea for her return should it happen.
“As long as the doctors say yes,” Nikki commented to NBC when asked if she would wrestle again. “Especially with my sister [Brie Bella]. When we left is when they brought in the tag titles.
We will have to wait and see if WWE has anything planned for the twins.
