WWE had planned to have Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins to main event this month’s Survivor Series pay-per-view and the December TLC pay-per-view. There are conflicting reports on if Rollins would have held the title through WrestleMania or would have dropped it to Reigns before then.
Rollins is currently scheduled to fly from the UK today to his home in Iowa to have surgery.
Rollins won the WWE Title back at WrestleMania 31 and held the title for 220 days. The record for the longest reigning WWE Champion in history is CM Punk with 434 days.
