Oscar de la Hoya Drops Travis Barker & Daughter Bombshell

In a candid conversation with ET, boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya opened up about his relationship with Travis Barker and praised him for being a father figure to his daughter, Atiana De La Hoya. De La Hoya, who shares Atiana with former beauty queen Shanna Moakler, admitted to being an absentee father and expressed gratitude towards both Barker and Moakler for their roles in raising their children.

De La Hoya acknowledged that he did not play a significant role in raising his kids and credited Barker for stepping up as a father figure to Atiana. He also expressed gratitude towards Moakler for being a mother to their daughter. De La Hoya acknowledged his place as a father and expressed pride in his role, but recognized the important contributions of Barker and Moakler.

“Look, I didn’t raise my kids, you know? Their moms did. And I have to give credit where credit is due,” De La Hoya tells ET. “I’m grateful that Barker was there, you know, as a father figure for my daughter. I have to be grateful that Shanna was a mother to Atiana, and just know my place, basically, you know? My place — I’m obviously a father, and I’m proud of it. But, again, I’m grateful for what they’ve done. Especially with Barker. He’s obviously stepped up to the plate.”

Atiana was born in 1999, and De La Hoya and Moakler split shortly after she married Barker in 2004. Despite their divorce, Barker and Atiana maintained a strong bond over the years. De La Hoya spoke highly of Barker, describing him as a “nice guy” and expressing utmost respect for him. He mentioned that they communicate about Atiana and expressed gratitude for what Barker has done for their daughter.

It is evident that De La Hoya holds Barker in high regard for his involvement in Atiana’s life and values the relationship they have built as co-parents.
