Patrick Mahomes ‘Deleted’ Diddy Messages Revealed

Patrick Mahomes is distancing himself from Diddy amidst a wave of troubling allegations against the rap mogul. The Kansas City Chiefs superstar’s social media accounts have begun scrubbing posts that reference Sean Combs’ stage name.

Back in 2014, Mahomes shared two posts featuring the phrase “P Diddy,” the moniker used by the Bad Boy founder from 2001 to 2004.

One of the tweets seems entirely unrelated to the artist, mentioning a friend with the handle “@Pat_Day_75,” believed to be a longtime acquaintance from Texas.

The other post was made on Feb. 16, coinciding with the 2014 NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans, where Diddy performed alongside Pharrell, Nelly, Busta Rhymes, and Snoop Dogg.

Though innocuous at the time, these tweets haven’t aged well, particularly in light of recent controversies. Consequently, it’s no surprise that the three-time Super Bowl champion has opted to remove them from his account, especially after some users resurfaced the old posts.

As previously reported, Diddy’s residences in Los Angeles and Miami were raided earlier this week in connection with allegations ranging from sex trafficking to soliciting and distributing illegal narcotics, as well as firearms.

Given the circumstances, it’s unlikely Mahomes will be sharing any lyrics from “It’s All About the Benjamins” anytime soon, at least until the case is resolved.
