Pro Wrestler Has Died Suddenly At 44

The world of professional wrestling is saddened by the tragic passing of indie wrestler ‘Dirty Money’ Jermaine Robinson has also passed away at the age of 44 recently.

It has been noted that Jermaine Robinson had been sidelined since April due to a double quadriceps tear sustained in a match. A GoFundMe account was set up to support the 20-year veteran with medical costs. The fundraiser description read,

“As a way of showing appreciation for all he has done, we, his peers, have decided to start this fundraiser to assist him and his family. Donations will help offset medical costs and supplement any income lost during the recovery period. We hope you will help us rally around our brother!”

On May 17, Robinson posted an update on the GoFundMe page, sharing his progress:

“First day of home PT went well! A lil movement in range of motion! Slow and steady, but Progressing! Thank you for your continued prayers for strength and healing!!! Hope you all have a wonderful day full of Healthiness & Happiness!!”

Robinson had recently returned home from the hospital and was expecting a lengthy recovery. He was also scheduled to appear at a MATW show in Fairfax on June 15.

Robinson debuted in wrestling around 2001 and competed for promotions such as Dangerous Adrenaline Wrestling Gladiators, Primal Conflict Wrestling, and Vanguard Championship Wrestling. He won numerous titles and formed notable tag teams, including The Ecktourage with Eric Chapel and The Platinum Icons with Phil Brown.

Robinson was deeply committed to fitness and trained at the KYDA Pro Wrestling Training School under Jimmy Z (James Zaveski), who also trained notable wrestlers such as Mickie James and Sonjay Dutt. We offer our deepest condolences to Robinson’s family and loved ones during this sad time.
