Proud Boy To ‘Implicate’ Donald Trump In Crime?

Enrique Tarrio, a prominent figure associated with the Proud Boys, has claimed in an exclusive interview with the Gateway Pundit that he was pressured by prosecutors to lie about former President Donald Trump, which led to his recent sentencing. Tarrio alleged that he was coerced into signing a false statement that would falsely implicate President Trump in connection to events surrounding January 6th.

Tarrio’s interview with the Gateway Pundit came after he was sentenced to a lengthy prison term by a judge named as “Dishonorable Judge Kelly” on Tuesday. During the interview, Tarrio made several assertions:

  1. Coercion to Lie About Trump: Tarrio claimed that he was asked to fabricate a connection between himself and President Trump related to the events of January 6th. He asserted that the prosecutors from the Department of Justice attempted to pressure him into signing a false statement that would incriminate Trump by suggesting that they had communicated about the events.
  2. Fabricated Allegations: Tarrio categorically denied any real connection to President Trump or his family and insisted that the allegations were entirely fabricated. He emphasized that he refused to sign the prosecutors’ “work of fiction.”
  3. Arrest and Raid: Tarrio recalled his arrest in March 2022 when the FBI conducted a pre-dawn raid on his home. He claimed that he was taken away by authorities in his underwear.
  4. Proud Boys and Trump Connection: Tarrio pointed out that despite the efforts of the January 6th Unselect Committee, the Biden administration, and the Department of Justice, no genuine connection between President Trump and the Proud Boys had been established. He suggested that they had failed to do so, even resorting to alleged illegal tactics.
  5. Concerns About Witness Coercion: Tarrio expressed concerns about the Department of Justice’s alleged coercion of witnesses to fabricate stories about President Trump. He cited a recent case involving a Mar-a-Lago employee who had reportedly entered a cooperation deal with the Special Counsel’s office.
  6. Request for Congressional Investigation: Tarrio made a public plea to House Republicans and the Judiciary Committee, particularly mentioning Representative Jim Jordan. He requested an opportunity to be heard by the Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, citing concerns about the misuse of the justice system for political gain.

The interview raised serious allegations about the conduct of the Department of Justice and its handling of the January 6th investigations, with Tarrio claiming that he was pressured to provide false information about the former president. Tarrio’s plea for a congressional investigation underscored the gravity of his allegations and their potential implications for the justice system and American citizens’ rights.

“The truth is, I could have been home,” said Tarrio. “I could have been home a long time ago. I could be in my warm ass bed right now, laughing at the world, without a problem…and all I had to do in order to do that WAS LIE ABOUT TRUMP. All I had to do was confirm a lie.”

Everything they wanted me to say is fabricated,” said Tarrio. “It was a lie. I refused to sign their work of fiction. I want to be unequivocally clear- I have no connection to President Trump or anyone in his family whatsoever. The connection simply just does NOT exist and never did. They literally wanted me to lie.”

“I am formally asking the Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government for an opportunity to be heard. I believe I have information that must be investigated by the members of Congress. I fear our Justice system is currently being used to indict and incarcerate American citizens based on their political viewpoint and I have information that I believe to be crucial and imperative to your investigations. I do not seek this matter to be a public spectacle. My only concern is that the liberty of American citizens is being used by this administration for political gain. I implore you, Representatives of the People, please allow me to explain to you these concerns. It is of the highest importance and has ramifications as far as the highest office of the United States. Thank You, Enrique Tarrio”
