The 24×7 Championship has been one of the highlights of the recent WWE programming and it won’t be changing anytime soon because it’s doing huge numbers on YouTube and fans seem to be loving the feuds very much.
On this week’s episode of SmackDown LIVE, Drake Maverick finally managed to ambush reigning champion R-Truth and pin him for the Championship. Maverick was having the time of his life by becoming a champion and getting married all in the same week.
However, in the final moments of his wedding ceremony, when he and his new bride were walking down the aisle, Maverick came across a referee waiting for him at the exit. Before Maverick could react, R-Truth came out of nowhere and pinned him for the Championship.
Truth took the Championship away from Maverick and ran away from the scene leaving Maverick in utter despair as he apologized to his wife and went away to chase Truth.
What happened after, is unknown to us. Either way, we’ll know the next chapter of this epic feud very very soon.
