Raj Giri has revealed that Rey Mysterio is in Buffalo, New York, the site of tonight’s WWE Raw. Over the weekend, Vince McMahon reportedly notified his inner circle, and WWE creative are working on concepts to reintroduce the high-flyer to the main roster soon.
It’s not known whether Mysterio will return to television tonight as today could simply be a meeting with officials to plan his return
The former WWE World Champion was last spotted backstage at a Lucha Underground TV tapings with his son, Dominic, and he has made no secret that he is burned out wants a break from wrestling following the expiry of his WWE deal. A source was quoted as saying:
“He’s been doing this for over 20 years and between the injuries and the mental burn out, he has no interest in AAA, Underground or re-upping with WWE.”
