Becky Lynch successfully defended her RAW Women’s Title against Sasha Banks at WWE Hell In A Cell, in what was considered the match of the night for most fans. However, Banks suffered an injury in Sacramento.
Banks’ injury is ”uncertain” and WWE is not releasing any information regarding the injury. So it is unclear when Banks will be making her return to the company.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about WWE’s current direction. The company seems to have started an angle with Asuka and Becky Lynch. Owing to Sasha Banks’ absence, Asuka will be feuding with Becky Lynch.
Asuka is one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, but she can always challenge for Becky’s title as well.
