Republican Radio Host In Legal Trouble With Trump

It has been noted that a judge in Fulton County, Georgia has ordered conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel to testify in a criminal case against former President Donald Trump via Media Ite.

District Attorney Fani Willis is prosecuting the former president over his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election in Georgia. On Tuesday, her office filed a petition seeking testimony from Jones and McDaniel, which Judge Scott McAfee granted.

He ruled that each is “a necessary and material witness in this prosecution” and “will be required to be in attendance and testify.”

About McDaniel, McAfee wrote that she “possesses unique knowledge concerning communications between herself and Donald Trump as well as communications between herself and John Eastman regarding the conspiracy to cause certain individuals to falsely hold themselves out as the duly elected and qualified presidential electors.”

Eastman was indicted with Trump along with 17 others in the case, which is being prosecuted under Georgia’s Racketeer Influence and Corrupt Organizations statute.

Meanwhile, McAfee wrote that Jones “possesses unique knowledge concerning communications between himself and Kenneth Chesebro and other known and unknown individuals involved in the multi-state, coordinated efforts to influence the results of the November 3, 2020, presidential election in Georgia and elsewhere.”

Chesebro has also been charged in the case. Like Trump and Eastman, he has pleaded not guilty.

Trump is under criminal indictment in three other jurisdictions, is currently the runaway frontrunner to win the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. The former president also faces federal charges stemming from his attempts to overturn the election in Georgia and other states.
