Rey Mysterio, a true legend in the world of professional wrestling, has left an indelible mark on the industry with his remarkable skills and undeniable influence. Throughout his career, Mysterio has always been proud of his heritage and cherished his close friendship with the late, great Eddie Guerrero, who played a significant role in shaping his journey.

One of the notable contributions Mysterio made to honor Guerrero’s legacy was the revival of the iconic LWO (Latino World Order) stable. This move came as a surprise to fans as WWE reintroduced the faction just before WrestleMania 39. Initially, there were concerns about how the transition from villains to beloved babyfaces would be received, but over time, the fans have grown accustomed to the new direction of Legado Del Fantasma.

The LWO was first introduced by Eddie Guerrero during his tenure in WCW, spanning from October 5, 1998, to January 1, 1999. Unfortunately, Guerrero’s leadership of the faction was cut short due to a car accident that resulted in injuries and forced him to step away.

Since its revival, Rey Mysterio has taken the helm as the leader of the LWO. As the Master of The 619, Mysterio has now surpassed Guerrero’s record, officially crossing the threshold of 89 days as the faction’s leader. This achievement not only solidifies Mysterio’s status as a prominent figure in the faction’s history but also serves as a testament to his dedication and commitment to honoring Guerrero’s memory.
