Sami Zayn may be one of the biggest names in professional wrestling right now. Actually, Sami is in the top five and he’s not third to fifth. Between Sami Zayn and MJF; we are easily looking at the two biggest names today. Rhea can be seen as breaking character here, but can we really blame her? It’s all for a great cause, after all. Sami Zayn has been a huge advocate for humanitarian efforts. It’s great to see WWE as well as talent getting behind Sami Zayn on what he wants to do in order to help out the world.
Zayn is incredibly committed to his role in not only humanitarian efforts, but also to his character and the Bloodline gimmick. In a recent interview, Zayn opened up about this.
He said to Sports Illustrated: “It’s a full-blown commitment to what I’m doing. That’s the best answer I can give. Some of these things weren’t predicted to work as they did. I don’t mean to get too philosophical with wrestling theory, but it extends to everything we’re doing. You have to put value on it, or else you can’t ask the fans to give you that value in return.”
As for what’s next for this run as an honorary Uce? It’s hard to say. In fact, it’s very difficult to say as WWE try to keep on top of anything that get leaks from programming. We’ll just have to stay focused on what Sami does next.
