WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley recently made a joint post with Binge on Instagram and she could be seen enjoying the beach.
In a recent interview with Fightful, Rhea Ripley talked about how she wanted her match with Charlotte Flair to headline WWE WrestleMania 39 last year. However, it was Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. The Usos who headlined night one with the Tag Team Titles on the line.
Ripley said, “Yeah. I mean, obviously I understand why we weren’t the main event. I do. I have to give it to the guys. They had a very compelling story going into WrestleMania to the point that mami was interested and mami wanted to see who was gonna come up victorious. But, obviously, being the Royal Rumble winner, I wanted that main event spot so extremely bad. So going out there as the semi-main, I did have a point to prove. I wanted to show everyone that we could have main evented if given the opportunity to have a proper build to WrestleMania. So I understand. I completely understand. No hate to the boys, but was a little bit jealous.“
Rhea Ripley is headed to the Elimination Chamber premium live event. This year, the event is taking place in Perth, Australia which is Ripley’s homeland. At the show she will defend her WWE Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax.
The 2024 Elimination Chamber event will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Optus Stadium in the Perth, Australia. The show will start at 5:00 AM EST.
