Paul Heyman explained on WWE Smackdown to Brock Lesnar that Roman Reigns missed the show as he was training on the isle of Samoa.
WWE have been making tons and tons of changes to their financial overhead in order to free up some money as they were told to cut out almost $30,000,000 from talent. While it seemed that WWE were freeing up the space to meet agreements, it seems that they have also freed up space to bring back stars such as Brock Lesnar. <a href="https://wrestling-edge.com/vince-mcmahon-shaving-demand-to-wwe-star-leaks/">Vince McMahon ‘Shaving’ Demand To WWE Star Leaks.
On a recent episode of ‘The Nitty Gritty Dirt Show’ just prior to Brock Lesnar’s WWE return, Billi Bhatti and Vince Russo talked mainly about WWE firing multiple members of backstage help and countless superstars such as Braun Strowman, Lana, and the previously released, Samoa Joe. During a segment of the show where they went over pay, they spoke about how WWE went from a cap of $98,500,000 down to $70,000,000 allotted for talent.
Russo stated: “Okay, so that $70,000,000 – that includes Brock’s pay right now, correct?”
Bhatti: “Brock’s pay right now is the same as The Rock’s pay right now. They both get $500,000 to create toys, merchandise, all that kind of stuff.”
So, not only can WWE afford Brock right now, but he’s already written into the bottom line with The Rock as well and will most likely be factored in for many years to come even when he retires.
