Roman Reigns Removed From WWE Return After…

Roman Reigns, who held WWE under siege for nearly four years and was the face of the company heading into WrestleMania 40, saw his historic Undisputed WWE Championship reign come to an end at the hands of Cody Rhodes at the event.

Since then, Reigns’ future has been uncertain, with expectations of his absence from WWE television programming. However, speculation about his return has intensified as WWE prepares for its major summer event, WWE SummerSlam.

Rumors of Reigns’ return gained momentum when he was spotted training with a well-known friend. Additionally, Reigns was initially advertised for the final SmackDown before SummerSlam, heightening anticipation among fans.

However, WWE has reportedly revised its plans for Reigns’ return. New promotional material for the August 2 SmackDown, released by WWE and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio, notably excludes Reigns from the lineup.

Instead, superstars now advertised for the SummerSlam go-home edition of SmackDown include Cody Rhodes, Bayley, Randy Orton, LA Knight, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair.

While Reigns’ absence from the listing could indicate an extension of his hiatus beyond SummerSlam, it’s important to note that his omission does not definitively rule out his return by then. The WWE Universe must wait for The Head of the Table to resurface, potentially in grand fashion, once again.
