Sasha Banks apparently offered WWE contract this weekend

Sasha Banks has yet to make an appearance on WWE television since Wrestlemania 35, where she and Bayley lost their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. She has kept herself busy in the meantime and it seems WWE wants her back.

According to a report by Brad Shepard, WWE offered Sasha Banks a multi-year contract worth seven figures in total this weekend.

According to a source in #WWE, the company offered Sasha Banks a multi-year, seven-figure deal this weekend.

And just to clarify, that isn’t seven-figures per year. It’s a seven-figure deal in total.

It is still a lot of money and we do wonder whether Sasha Banks will decide to take up the offer and decide to work with WWE. We will keep you updated regarding Sasha Banks’ status when we get to know more.

WWE usually pays per year rather than one lump sum. That one million contract are per year not for her entire 5 year contract.

Due to the amount that people have to pay in road expenses, it’s been said that the average salary in WWE is about $300,000 to $350,000 a year. That would put her at either an average salary for a 3 year deal, or below average salary for a longer contract. Either way, it’s probably less than what she deserves. WWE seems to be painting the narrative that they are doing everything to sign people and offering them great sums of money when in the end, it’s not as good of a deal as the public is lead to believe.

You’d really have to know how many years to know if this is a good deal or not. Since WWE doesn’t leak out a lot about what they pay, my guess is that this is a low ball extension with the promise of her making more on the back end if they push her. With as much as they push her, her road expenses will be higher than many, so it’s probably not the best deal for her long term. If she’s not back by Summer Slam, I don’t see her coming back.

She’ll come back I’m sure. Hope they turn it into a storyline. I thinks shes a better heel. Just rag on “how good she is” and how “WWE sucks and shes unhappy”. Might as well make some wrestlers frustrations storylines. Makes the promos feel real. Like with CM Punk, The Rock, Austin, Vince, Triple H, etc.

Nobody cares, she’s been absent for so long the women’s division has moved on

7 figure deal really does not say much. Plus without knowing how many years, that makes it even less informative.
I mean, it could be $1,000,000 over 5 years, which is only $200,000 a year or it could be $9,000,000 over 3 years which is $3,000,000 a year … huge difference.

I hate when the dirt sheets and insiders come up with words like 7 figure or multi year. Kinda says you don’t know as much as you want people to think you do.
