Sasha Banks is the Smackdown Women’s Champion, but she is also busy in other projects outside the squared circle. This includes her role as a character in Disney’s The Mandalorian season 2.
Her character debuted on the third episode of the current season of the show following a short appearance in a trailer.
Banks was recently interviewed by WWE Germany during Instagram Live. In the interview, she provided an explanation as to how her character was made.
She revealed that she was seen by the creator of the show Jon Favreau when she made her appearance on the YouTube series Hot Ones in 2018. Banks then added an interesting bit of information regarding her character.
“He watched me on Hot Ones… he really said that he loved my personality from that, and wanted to write a role for me, and I was honestly just in such shock”
Banks is currently engaged in a feud with Carmella on Friday Night Smackdown.
