On this week’s episode of RAW, R-Truth was once again ambushed by a string of WWE Superstars who looked to become 24/7 Champion. Drake Maverick challenged R-Truth to a one-on-one match for the title but lost immediately and walked out in despair before a number of Superstars made their way to the ring.
Later on, in the show, Mojo Rawley was set to face Heath Slater in a singles match but it was interrupted by R-Truth who was trying to evade the Superstars chasing him and his title. However, Truth was eventually taken out by Heath Slater who ended up becoming the Champion…albeit for a few seconds.
Slater was quickly pinned by Truth again who became an 8-time Champion with this victory. But before he could escape, he was attacked by Cedric Alexander who successfully pinned him for the title.
Unfortunately for Alexander, an escape was out of the question when so many Superstars were surrounding the ring. Before long, EC3 took out Alexander and became the next Superstar to capture the 24/7 Title.
However, as EC3 made his way to the back, Carmella showed up out of nowhere and snatched the title away from EC3. A limping R-Truth took advantage of this distraction and pinned EC3 again to become 9-time Champion as he walked out of RAW with the title and Carmella.
