The former WWE star Carlito recently revealed that WWE legend Shawn Michaels had told him that HBK is not a big fan of him.
Carlito opens up on Shawn Michaels
Carlito made his shocking return to WWE during the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. It was his first appearance in the company in over a decade. Carlito was previously released by WWE back in 2010.
He recently spoke to James Romero of Wrestling Shoot Interviews, and went on to reveal a backstage conversation he had with Michaels. Jimmy Uso Major WWE Title Spoiler Leaks
Carlito stated that Michaels had a problem with him being too nonchalant and not caring enough.
He said:
“I respected Shawn Michaels because he was one of the only ones that told me to my face that he didn’t like me,” Carlito said. “I can respect that. We had a talk, he told me whatever, and I can totally respect that. I don’t pretend to be everybody’s cup of tea. I like it that instead of telling me behind my back, he told me right to my face. After that I had a lot of respect for Shawn Michaels.”
He added:
“I forgot what it was. Same story as everybody else. [Shawn Michaels thought] I was too nonchalant or I didn’t care enough or whatever. I was too… [He thought] I had my mind on other things than wrestling. Stuff like that. I was like, ‘Alright.’”
Carlito has away from WWE since the RAW after the Royal Rumble. It is not known when he could return to the company.
