SNL Star Reveals Trump ‘Memory Loss’ Video

During Tuesday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing featuring former Special Counsel Robert Hur, House Democrats showcased a pair of montages starring former President Donald Trump. However, late-night television host Seth Meyers didn’t hold back his criticism of these montages during his segment “A Closer Look” on Wednesday night.

While addressing the hearing on the classified documents case involving President Joe Biden, Meyers couldn’t help but compare the mental states of Biden and Trump. Republicans allege Biden is experiencing cognitive decline, while Democrats argue that Trump is similarly mentally impaired. Representatives Jerry Nadler and Eric Swalwell attempted to bolster their argument by playing montages of Trump slurring his words, speaking nonsense, and mixing up names.

Meyers didn’t mince words in his reaction to this tactic:

“Democrats at yesterday’s hearing aired not one but two montages of Trump glitching at his rallies to contrast how well their brains function. While effective, I have to say, I was a little irked. That’s our thing, guys. We’ve been doing that for nine years. Our researchers have spent so much time sifting through videotape of Trump’s brain exploding that they’re scarred for life. You cannot outdo us, Congress, when it comes to a Trump montage, so don’t try because we can always out-montage you. In fact, I’m going to prove it right now. Hopefully this won’t be too long. You guys watch and I’ll keep myself occupied. Roll it, Alex.”

Meyers then humorously demonstrated his mastery of the Trump montage by engaging in various activities such as making a drink, playing cards, taking a power nap, and even creating a fresh courtroom sketch of the former president, all while the montage played in the background. Because when it comes to Trump montages, Meyers and his team reign supreme.
