Sonya Deville was not seen on WWE television since her loss to Mandy Rose at WWE SummerSlam in a ‘Loser leaves WWE’ match. In actuality, she was taking time off to deal with her stalker case.
Sonya Deville made her surprise return to the company during the first episode of Friday Night Smackdown this year. Since then she has been busy with her on-screen role alongside Adam Pearce.
According to a report by PWInsider, Charlotte Flair had a heated argument with Sonya Devilla backstage during Friday Night Smackdown last week, in addition to her argument with Becky Lynch. It seems Sonya Devilla almost wanted to fight Charlotte Flair as she was so angry.
The Lynch confrontation took place in the gorilla position in full view of Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard, among others and received the lion’s share of attention initially, but Lynch was not the only person upset with Flair. Two different sources described Sonya Deville as “mad enough to want to fight Flair” and at one point, also having an argument with Flair backstage at Smackdown.
At this point in time, it is not known what will become of Charlotte Flair in WWE, but we will keep you updated on this story.
