Next week’s episode of NXT will not be live as it is on Christmas. So the company has taped a couple of matches to air during their week off.
Roderick Strong will be issuing an open challenge for his NXT North American Title. Austin Theory will be answering the challenge. The match was recorded before NXT was taped the previous night. Strong retains his title, but Theory definitely put on an impressive showing of his skills.
Keith Lee & Lio Rush vs Damian Priest and Tony Nese will also air on next week’s show. However, the match has yet to be recorded.
