Tyson Kidd is one of the stars who emerged into WWE from the Hart Dungeon. However, after a short stint, a neck injury shortened his career from in-ring competition. Kidd’s neck was broken during a dark match before RAW in June 2015. He suffered a spinal cord injury after taking Samoa Joe’s “Muscle Buster.” That spot not only ended Kidd’s in-ring career, but it also caused WWE to nix Samoa Joe’s finisher and stall his main roster call-up. Tyson Kidd is now TJ Wilson as a WWE producer.
Tyson Kidd provides update on in-ring career
He logged onto Twitter recently to confirm that:
“No, I’ll never wrestle again, and I’m ok with that.”
Natalya then jumped onto Twitter and replied to her husband’s tweet:
“Your influence in pro-wrestling is even greater than when you were in the ring,” Nattie gushed. “So many women appreciate how much you’ve helped them reach their dreams. Whether it be in the main event(s) of WrestleMania or in those unsung moments when we simply needed someone to believe in us.”
Ringside News reported that they were able to learn more about this story. It is noted that some within the company saw that TJ Wilson story as “interesting.” The former Tyson Kidd has no reason to not be okay with his current situation considering the fact that he cannot be fired from his job as a WWE producer by Stephanie McMahon, because that job is part of a multi-million dollar settlement.
Of course, he’s ok with never wrestling again. He got a settlement on his lawsuit (somewhere between 10 and 20 million dollars) and a 250K a year job as producer that is part of the settlement, so it’s no-cut.
