Steve Austin vs. Hulk Hogan Major Rumor Leaks

Hulk Hogan remains one of the most popular pro wrestlers in the world of professional wrestling, with his influence in the business never being understated. However, his troubled past concerning racism has ultimately led to his downfall. Hulk Hogan was booed at WrestleMania 37 when he was introduced with Titus O’Neil as the hosts of the pay-per-view, which all stemmed from him using racial slurs in a leaked 2015 sex tape. Hulk Hogan also reportedly lied to fans at WrestleMania 37.

WWE Executive Director recently spoke on his Something to Wrestle With podcast, where he talked about the backstage issues that ultimately led to Hulk Hogan and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin never facing off against each other.

“I think eventually the match probably could have happened had everybody stayed healthy, but you’ve gotta keep in mind at that time Steve was dealing with a lot of health issues, Steve was dealing with a lot of trust issues. So, to say that that match never would have happened, that’s crazy to say. I think you just had to get over some of the issues that were basically rearing their head at the time, and that reality in and of itself was something that you had to take into consideration.”
