A throwback picture of WWE Hall of Famer ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage has surfaced the social media where he was spotted with Steven Tyler. The picture was snapped in Clearwater, FL in the early 2000’s.
Roman Reigns was compared with ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage
On the latest episode of Writing with Russo, Vince Russo expressed the feeling of seeing the two megastars Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage clash for the first time in late 1985.
He explained how the two megastars had the crowd in the palm of their hands and how nobody today, barring Roman Reigns, can evoke that kind of a reaction from crowds:
“I was in Madison Square Garden the first time [Hulk] Hogan faced Randy Savage. The rafters shook. The building was shaking. They had them in the palm of their hands. Who has them [fans] like that now apart from [Roman] Reigns? Who’s got them right here today? LaRoo [Candice LaRae]?”
Roman Reigns successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre at WWE Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event. He is set to defend the title against Logan Paul at Crown Jewel 2022 in Saudi Arabia.
Reigns was a guest on Paul’s podcast, “Impaulsive,” and before the show ended, the popular YouTuber revealed that he wanted to face Reigns and claimed that he could beat ‘The Tribal Chief.’ ‘The Maverick’ had also called out Roman Reigns to a press conference during the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown. ‘ The Tribal Chief’ appeared at Las Vegas press conference. The title match was made official for the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event.
