Legendary actors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone are two of the biggest names in Hollywood. Their rivalry has been iconic in the industry. The greatness has created long-lasting trouble between them. Nevertheless, they share a bittersweet bonding throughout the years due to their enemy-friends relationship. Their bromance reached another level in 2012 when they were spotted together, not in a movie, but in a hospital.
Arnold Schwarzenegger opens up on Sylvester Stallone’s health
It was on Saturday night that Arnold Schwarzenegger held a successful charity auction at Gold’s Gym in Venice. The attendees paid $50,000 to witness Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Danny DeVito, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The event aimed at supporting underprivileged students across the United States.
Arnold had created his charity “After-School All-Stars” 30 years ago. The charity aims to benefit students by providing after-school physical activity programs. Currently, Arnold’s charity benefits around 100,000 students at 60 different locations spread nationwide.
Arnold also allowed two crews to work with him, each for a whopping $150,000. One of the two crews was the Flancbaum family from Florida. People donated around $5.2 million for the charity event, out of which $1.75 million came through auction. ‘The Terminator’ gave workout advice to the family as a crowd gathered to watch them. Along with his training session, Arnold Schwarzenegger auctioned off his clothes, artwork, and a ride in his military tank.
Schwarzenegger and Stallone are seen together at award functions, charity events, and sometimes, even hospitals. The most recent event they embraced was the After-School All-Stars event, where Stallone supported Schwarzenegger with his noble cause.
After the event, Sylvester Stallone posted a picture with the latter on Instagram. He captioned it as:
“Congratulations to my great friend @schwarzenegger who had a incredibly successful charity event to benefit the children THE AFTER SCHOOL ALLSTARS … Still looking strong as a Bull!”
