The Rock to return soon
It seems that WWE has been able to arrange a return for The Great One. Andrew Zarian dropped a huge bombshell during the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast.
He went on to say that WWE is holding Survivor Series in Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and they need a huge name to highlight on the event. He said:
“You’ve got a big show in a big building and you’re trying to tell it out. I mean who better than […] the most electrifying man in sports entertainment. He is definitely Walking Tall, but he was in Get Shorty. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ is expected for Survivor Series. I feel confident that is the plan.”
Next year’s WrestleMania in Dallas could see The Rock vs Roman Reigns as per Andrew Zarian. He said those are the plans on paper right now. We will have to see if the former WWE Champion makes his way back in the company for the blockbuster matches. The Rock could wrestle at Survivor Series, or it could just be an appearance.
